I am not sure why you needed a very large logo next to the render but it must have been your design you had churning in your head. I think the render half would have made a graphic on it's own without the big logo. The only other thing is that you should try to remove any NHL branding. The text looks out of place. I think a black bar with white text might have served this better. Only my opinion.
