DRAFT DAY DECLARATION

Eligible bachelor and draftee Phil Strasmore walked into the Press Conference this afternoon and declared... well, not bankruptcy, but that he will be going straight to the VHL and skipping the VHLe. 

 

This screaming announcement was apparently made under apparently under the guidance of a shit-disturber, as there's no real protocol or procedure one has to go through if they do not want to spend a season in the European-only league.

 

"I like a lot of the teams in the league," Strasmore said in a post-press conference conference, "But I can't waste any more time. I wasted too much time in football before my injury, and now I want to spend as much time as I can in the VHL - it's the only way I see myself having an eight-season career". 

 

Truer words have not been spoken. Only one player in the history of the VHL has had more than eight seasons. For some reason, the league only limits players to eight. This is the only league in the world that does this - but it's worked for us for this long! 

 

Strasmore is looking to go in the top round, and we'll see where he ends up. Mock drafts have put him as high as 3rd overall and as low as 8th. Let's see what happens in just 5 hours!!
