• Awards last night, Markinson got his first Valiq Trophy (Best Offensive Defenseman) and then won the Labatte (Top Defenseman) for the third time. Pretty huge honors. I think the 3x Labatte Trophies really cements Markinson as one of the top defenseman in this generation. My other defenseman I created Jake Wylde was a HOFer and even has the defensive defenseman trophy named after him - I feel like Markinson has been a lot more fun to watch and has had a better career.
• There was a part of me that was ready to take an extended break from VHL, but it's starting to kinda hit me that I'll be in my last season with Moscow for the next couple months, and it's kinda a bummer. I dunno, I've contemplated a lot this off-season; whether it be taking on a bigger role within the league, or taking a break. Starting now to consider just creating and not going all-out for TPE. Part of me just wants to have a player in the league to stay invested. Also, having a player forces you to socialize with all sorts of different people on different teams..
• Excited to get the VHFL Draft done so that I can do my yearly draft review. Was hoping I could do that for this .com, but my group is still going..

I am really glad that you've enjoyed your time on Moscow man. You've been a great guy to have in the LR and as a bud to chat with. I'd be most thrilled if the Moscow experience pushed you towards recreating instead of taking that planned break. Maybe GM'ing would be on the cards too!
