Mook 120 Posted October 1, 2014 Share Posted October 1, 2014 Fedir Okranitz, while just being drafted has put in a lot of work in order to increase his performance. While still behind more experienced rookie goaltenders, during the early practices he was able to showcase his talents on the ice and made quite an impression. The rate he is improving at this early in his career, while not entirely surprising, was great for the GM to see. His ranking among other young goaltenders is climbing and he is in the position to be a very defensive threat on the ice for the Rush. Sources say that Fedir has taken very well to his goalie coach, which may be why he has been able to change so much in such little time. His practice time is very intense with very little breaks from shots and lots of work with controlling his rebounds. His teammates are the key to his success, keeping him motivated during training.
