A “Wild” game to say the least. Jokes aside, the Saskatoon Wild walk away with a win after this barn burner of a game, beating the Philadelphia Reapers by a score of 6-5.

Sergeiy Poligaev @JahCartier opened the scoring for them at the 3-minute mark. The Reapers did not let the early goal rattle them, as forward Dirk Diggler @Tbeez99 answered with two goals, both set up by fellow winger Sunglasses Joyo @JetsGoalie101. Luke Glendening @ColeMrtz gets called for the hook and Mats Zuccarello @Battlepopcorn capitalizes with his 17th of the season with a dish from Poligaev. They head into the the 2nd period with a 3-3 tie and were unable to match the blistering pace they set in period 1. With both teams having more shots in the first period than in the second and third combined! Zuccarello break the silence with his 18th goal, creeping closer to current goal leader The Mediocre One @RElblein (23). Toontown pots another one giving them a 2 goal lead heading into the 3rd. Joyo keeps it close netting himself 2 more assists for a total of 4 on the game. Alas, it was not enough to surpass Sergeiy Poligaev who had himself a night with 1 goal and 4 assists. He takes home first star, with Dirk Diggler taking home the second star with a 1 goal, 2 assist performance.

A night to forget for both goalies, who ended the game with sub .850 SV%.

With this win, Saskatoon find themselves first in the Western Conference, but only by one point as the Las Vegas Aces are hot on their tail. With only 10 points separating first and last, this conference is wide open and any team is capable of finishing in first.

Reapers sink deeper in the Eastern Conference, only currently leading a historically awful Mississauga Hounds team. They are still in arms reach of third as only 3 points separate them and the Halifax 21st.
