(Marcel's stats/Daniel's stats)

The Wranglers played ten matches and showed a 6-3-1 record in same. Daniel still produced 15points (5g/10a) in these ten games and is second in scoring behind his class mate Nico Pearce. Marcel on the other hand excels in the +/- category where he is tied second (together with fellow Wrangler Tessier) league wide with a respectable +23.

Calgary stands at second place in the NA Conference, four points behind Vancouver, but with two games in hand.

The Jansers' stats so far:

Marcel: 44gp, 5g, 10a, 15pts, +23, 8 PIM, 41 hits, 77sb, 3gwg, 2ppg,

Daniel: 44gp, 28g, 36a, 64pts, +18, 88 PIM, 148 hits, 22sb, 3gwg, 8ppg, 57.81FO%, 5 first star awards

There was news from Daniel when he called for a press conference to be held in his home near the Elbow River. He started off the bat:

'Thank you all for coming on such short notice. This is highly appreciated. Unfortunately, I have dire news for some of our beloved Calgary fanbase, as I will with immediate effect retire...'

The assembled press drew a collective breath, one could have heard a pin drop. The reporters were looking at each other, whether one of the fellow writers knew something about a nagging injury or an illness even. Because the performance on the ice would not suggest anything of the sort. And judging by an earlier interview given not so long ago, the possibility of a fall-out between management and the Swiss Center appeared far fetched. Everyone listened in anticipation, when Daniel finished his sentence:

'... from my life as a bachelor. Please meet my partner, Ms Bonnie Ferguson from Glasgow.' A collective sigh of relief from the creme de la creme of the Calgary print media was audible. Some even uttered a hesitant and nervous laugh, when they realized Dan pranked them, suggesting a more severe announcement was acoming. Through the sliding door of the porch a 6 foot tall, probably twenty year old woman with curly hair of copper and emerald green eyes enters the scene. 'Hi folks', she greets the press representatives in deep voice, smooth as Scotch.

'We will send all of you a press communiqué about the when, how, why and so on to your offices.' Daniel took charge again. This is meant as an opportunity for you to take photographs and to meet my love in person. Thanks again for coming and for the patience you extended to Bonnie and me. We highly appreciate you respecting our privacy.'

And on this bomb shell, we say good bye for now and will revert with news as they develop.
