Boomcheck 161 Posted October 4, 2014 Share Posted October 4, 2014 I haven't exactly decided on a plan for Rhinehart but i'm going to tamper my expectations to be a tad bit more realistic than when I first came here. I've only managed to create one VHL caliber player in Bravehart and that was after spending 3 seasons down in the minors. Unluckily for Jason my first season in the league was my contract year for the Calgary Wranglers. Thirty games in and I was tied for league lead in points with Jenkins and one goal above him to also lead the league. It was funny because I was at 175 TPE and doing all that. Even my own teammates started to question the league's sim engine like Rybak, who had been recently drafted but had a statline that paled in comparison. I led the team in every major statistical category, which turned out well for me since I was a two-way player. I decide to milk the Wranglers for a big money contract that I proved later on not to be worth. In the remaining stretch of games, especially after the deadline my stats declined and dropped like an anchor. This time around I expect to just be a decent depth defenceman, maybe a #2 if i'm lucky enough and committed. Nothing fancy and I can't guarantee you the best of my activity but i'll lurk around and post from time to time so Rhinehart can be a serviceable player for any team that has him.
