Cologne Extends Winning Streak to 12

Cologne Express keep chugging along as a 4-2 victory over the Vasteras Iron Eagles nets them their 12th win a they remain undefeated.

 

 Vinny Lecavalier @Spartakiller2 (5) opens the scoring for the Iron Eagles with a feed from Eric White (6) and Lloyd Braun @Toast (8), but Lorenzo Cobberson @Hendrix Cobberson (10) responds four minutes later to tie it right back up. Braun takes a tripping penalty and its Cobberson (11) again, taking advantage on the powerplay. Just over a minute later Braun (2) is the one tying it up with a power play goal of his own. 

 

The second period is all Express as they out shoot their opponent 23-6. Fred Hampton @TownBizness (7)(8) scores the game winner and the insurance marker as Cologne leads 4-2 heading into the 3rd.

 

Goalies lock the game down in the 3rd as they score holds for the final 20 minutes. 

 

Two goals each rewards Cobberson and Hampton with 1st and 2nd star respectively. Al Land @BigDee nabs 3rd with 1 assist and 7 hits.
