The season has been nothing short of hurdles and challenges for the LVA management. After what looked like a complete flop, the team has now entered the offseason earlier than they had anticipated. We spoke to the GM recently and she had some words for the team and league.

Speaking from experience, the season can't always go the way you would want it to go. As proven recently with the surprise knockout in the VHLE, the season is difficult to predict. Life can always throw curveballs at us but we need to overcome it the best we can.

The season came to an abrupt decline after what we could call a IA crisis. This was seen hitting Las Vegas the hardest and it eventually caused them to drop to the bottom of the leaderboard. However, want does the GM have to say about the players performance?

I believe everyone did their part. End of story. There isn't a guy that isn't working hard and every single one of them turn up for work. Day in and day out, they put their best foot forward. I am extremely proud of them. The leadership group led by Juan Ceson has also shown it's strength during the losing streak. The defense turned up every night and the players getting top minutes were having more than a point per game.

After succeeding the one and only Shindigs as GM, some had expectations set for the rookie GM. How has that pressure held up for her?

I hope that the expectations people have on me aren't very high because this is my first season. Of course if the previous GM was Shindigs, you'd have competition up your sleeve but I've taken thay idea out of my mind. It causes unnecessary stress and to be frank with everyone here, I am here to make the VHLM better for everyone. It isn't always about winning in the M because it's also about guiding first gens and overall, making it an enjoyable experience.

For those wondering about the plans for S87 and the future. We get to hear from Blazzer itself. What can we expect from the management?

Our main goal now is to focus on the draft. I won't reveal all that we're looking to do but I have tried to put myself in the best position for the draft. I'm hoping to build from that as waivers are bound to come in throughout the season. Just want to keep it fun and casual, nothing serious because that removes the fun right? After the draft, we will start the season. I'm hoping for a better one but we'll see where it takes us. The draft will be particularly interesting. It looks different from the previous and we'll have to be smart about it.

This is the end of our small segment about the Las Vegas Aces. We hope to being you more updates as the season rolls forward. We wish everyone the best especially to those in the playoffs!
