Is Siyan Yasilievich a Bust?

The Numbers

Siyan Yasilievich was drafted 4th overall in the S83 VHL Draft to the HC Davos Dynamo, where he has spent his whole career. He has put up 26 goals, 146 assists, good for 166 points and a +2 in 216 games played in the regular season. In the playoffs, Siyan has put up 7 goals, 19 assists, 26 points and a -3 with 30 games played. Every single season Siyan has been able to take his team past the wildcard round since he's been with Davos, with this season taking them all the way to the EU Conference Finals. On top of that, Siyan was named the Alternate Captain for Davos in S84, while being the Captain for S85 and S86. However, Siyan has yet to win a single award and be above a PPG player in the regular season, so this poses the question, is Siyan a bust? If we look at the draft, we can already take a look at a couple of players that went after Siyan in the draft, this being AirRig Goodbrandsun who went 5th and his teammate Jake Thunder, who went 19th. AirRig Goodbrandsun has 272 points in 288 games played as a defenseman, with two point per game seasons, and is a +127. Jake Thunder for Davos has 216 points in 216 games played in the regular season, with a +48 and also, two point per game seasons under his belt.

We asked Siyan Yasilievich his thoughts on players being drafted below him doing better and him potentially being labelled a "bust" for fourth overall, to which he said, "I'm just getting started."
