Start out with something you can handle and then push your skills and do more each time you create a new one. Very nice logo swap and your text is nice and clear, easy to read and to the point. I might suggest that you remove any NHL branding on future projects and add the VHL/VHLM/VHLE branding. Overall it's a great start.
