Eagles spotted at the VHL Finals

Henry Eagles was spotted at all the Continental Cup finals games and we wanted to find out what the story behind that was.

 

"My father played for the Wranglers for the majority of his career so I took him to the games" Henry said " He was able to catch up with some of the staff there and cheer for his team, I also grew up in Calgary when he was playing so if the Wolves can't win the cup I would want to see the Wranglers win"

 

Tom Eagles, who is Henry's father, played as a defenseman for the Wranglers for 7 season and set a franchise record for shots blocked.

 

"While I unfortunately never got to win a cup with the Wranglers, I still support them and want to see them win" Tom said " Sometimes watching them play in the finals, I just want to lace up and get on the ice! It has been a few seasons since I retired and sometimes I get that feeling of wanting to return!"
