• Playoffs just finished up. Pretty good year, excited to have been selected first overall by the Ottawa Lynx, and then to be able to bring a Championship to the franchise is pretty special.
• The year was kinda dead. The LR was fine, but it was basically just a private place to post reactions to the sim. Not really engaged by the VHLM at all last season. It’s been a pretty lackluster experience with this player if I’m being completely honest. I didn’t hear from any teams that had a shot at a lotto pick. I’m still holding onto hope that things will get interesting this off season.
• DC won the lotto. I could see them selecting scoop first overall. I think it’d actually be hilarious if I made another player that went 2nd Overall (this would be #5). I don’t really have any sort of experience with the GMs inside the top five picks, other than playing apex with moon. Really at this point I don’t have a preference where I go, but it would be nice to hear from a GM beforehand. I mean any GM who is drafting in the lotto range that isn’t reaching out to prospects, is probably not the kind of GM I’d want to play for anyway..
