After yet another endless offseason, we're finally at the dawn of a new season. We've gotten excellent news right before the season started, as our very own @BOOM has been inducted to the VHL Hall of Fame as a league Builder - awarded to notable members of the league and community who have helped shaped the league's growth and culture over the years. BOOM is a fantastic person to have in a locker room, and we're honored to have had him as a teammate and comrade. So it should be no surprise at all for the following:

First Alternate - Hammar Voss - @BOOM

The third season in a row that Voss the Boss sports the "A" looks to be both his and the team's best one yet. Defensively, Moscow looks to be able to give any team a run for their money - and BOOM will lead that charge alongside budding superstar AK92 Wit da Hoodie, Moscow vet Flynn Remy, and sophomore The Mediocre One. Voss received some love during award nominations in S87, receiving nominations for various defensemen awards and securing a spot on a VHL All-League team. His leadership from the blue line will be extremely valuable as Moscow continues to chase the elusive Continental Cup.

Second Alternate - Ronan Lavelle - @Arce

Arce and Lavelle's contributions to Moscow are apparent in just one season. He's the driving force of the locker room and a welcome source of feedback and advice for all things operations-related. Coming off his 4th consecutive 90+ point season, he will certainly be eyeing his first 100+ point season as he emerges from the shadow of former league MVP Nico Pearce. The superstar winger seems to have focused a lot on faceoffs over the offseason, showing his positional flexibility. He will be the leader of this offense, and the team's performance will follow his lead.

Captain - Kyosti Karjalainen - @UnkemptCL4PTP

O captain, my captain. I'm sure Unkempt is breathing a sigh of relief having not been traded after being named Moscow Captain, but he certainly won't take this season lightly. Kyosti has made it known to the team that this will be his final season, and he has prepared all off-season to reclaim the consistent 60+ point scoring performance he enjoyed for the majority of his career. We are tremendously honored and appreciative to have Kyosti play for Moscow for his entire career (despite being drafted by HSK), and look forward to what will certainly be his best season yet!

Congrats to all named to the leadership team!
