Between the colors, the clock tower, and the trolley (?), I think that this piece accomplishes your assumed goal of making it feel very British. The text is pretty good but I think it could be made a tad smaller so it isn't nearly touching the edges. The main render looks pretty good, but the one off to the left is a bit awkward and low-resolution, I think you could straight up remove it and it would be an improvement.
