While winning this season is a high priority, the moves are being made for Fedir to become the best goalie in the league next season. "I know what my GM has planned, and I am doing everything I can in order to be at the top of my game for him going in to next season. Winning may not be at the top of my list right now, a loss still stings. I really have pushed myself in order to improve as quickly as possible and looking back to the start of the season, I am a completely different goaltender" If the Rush do make it further than the first round, the success will most likely be because of Okranitz' performance between the pipes. Sitting 3rd in Save percentage with 200 more shots faced than the next top goaltender, he really has taken the pelting from his opponents. Of course he can't win games on his own, the team ahead of him has put up 153 goals.
