We’re getting ever closer to the midpoint of another VHL season. And here I am, Big Bojo, with another middling average player. There were signs of optimism at the start of the season, when Boga for one sim held a place in the top 10 scorers, but the last 5-6 games have been pure pain.

 

It’s hard to know where to go from here. Sure, I’ve got another 200 TPE or so to get to get to the peak build that Shindigs (☹) helped me draw up, but the bulk of that TPE is going to go into DEF. Will jumping from DEF 90 to 94 really take Boga from mid to elite? It’s going to be interesting to see how that works, given that I’m planning on keeping my SC at 88.

 

At the end of the day, I should be happy with 38 points through 34 games. On that pace, it’s another career season, but it will certainly mean that the Boga for Funk train comes derailing again.

The Bears seem to be in a good place, although as with Boga, the last couple of sims have been surprising. I’m sure we’ll see more tinkering with the lines and strats, but all in all things are good.
