Gaikoku-hito 2,135
Off-Season rankings Here I was going to do a quick random thoughts write-up again as seems to become more the norm; which I hate since I rather write interesting and creative idea or make interesting to me graphics but time has not been my friend in the month of August and maybe a bit before that so instead of boring, I am going no thought or not data collection ranking of the VHL teams off seasons; in no particular order either. Calgary Wranglers F it was disappointed off season for the team as fan base now cheers for rival Bears this season and hope for better days. Chicago Phoenix. C trade (S88) Liv Slater for futures and selected Franchise goaltender. Struggles still ahead. DC Dragons C Made the team better but at the cost futures. Maybe a sign of impatience HC Davos Dynamo B Rebuilt second line and depth forwards. Need to run 3d all season and can be a concern but still a solid team. Helsinki Titans C Where is the defense? Wolanin & Braun make the team better but enough to make the play-offs? London United D Two players around 400TPE in the forward group could be ugly for United. Improved by bring in Nesbitt but is it enough? Los Angeles Stars C Saved by New York with Dynamite & Puk trade. Still need to make roster moves with 2.5M but that might be tough at this stage. Malmo Nighthawks A Aggressive, Eagles, Probert & Weaver and still 2M remaining for trade deadline. Maybe a contender? Moscow Menace D Stepping back to step forward but still have aged assets on the roster? New York Americans F Traded away assets to get young and a roster that the VHLE would be proud of!! Prague Phantoms E Did you actually do anything this off-season? 2.5M can be used to get better at trade deadline. Riga Reign F 3M and two large holes. Can they make a run or further changes to stay competitive? Seattle Bears B Goncalves & Wallob keeps them contending. Still missing pieces but 3m to spend. Toronto Legion A Pretender to Contender? Siyan & Moscow make them better. Vancouver Wolves C Passive-aggressive. Depth is the option and future D. Stepping back is possible. Warsaw Predators C Looking to the Future with VHLE roster. Long season projected Tell me below as I am sure to care why I am wrong or things that I missed. Again, I did no research so of course I am wrong!!
