Bogatyrev spotted leaving Zurich airport

It’s fair to say that Yaroslav Bogatyrev is unlikely have his name remembered in HC Davos Dynamo folklore. The Russian forward spent a total of four days on the team, and the history books will go down without him ever having been a member of the team, let alone having played a game for them.

 

On Thursday, it was announced that a trade between the Seattle Bears and HC Davos Dynamo for the Russian forward’s free agent rights had been voided. Despite having no intention with signing with the team before the start of free agency, Bogatyrev had travelled to Switzerland to hold talks with the team, at his choosing. At the time, it was thought that the Russian forward could be convinced to join the side if they were successful in acquiring the rights to another prominent free agent. However, those plans came and went.

 

One day later, on Friday, Bogatyrev was spotted in the departure lounge of Zurich airport.  It is unknown where he was flying to, as it remains unclear where the Russian forward will be playing next season.
