i am still kind of shocked that i applied for, and got the gm job for the mexico city kings. it's kind of crazy that things would end up coming full circle like this. the first team i was gm for, a place where i feel like i can always call home. and now it's like i'm starting that journey all over again! i do feel like i kind of rushed into it without putting much thought, but i've always operated on a strictly vibes only agenda. having said that, i intend to get stuck right in and get myself back up to speed as soon as possible. luckily i have been the humble servant of rory in bratislava and don't have too much to catch up on.

 

i'm really excited to get to work with the first gen players of current day. while we may not be hitting the recruiting highs of peak lockdown days, there are still some solid members joining the league. i intend on trying to foster a team environment that encourages new players to get fully involved with the league and really explore what the vhl has to offer.
