InstantRockstar 1,236 Posted November 9, 2023 Share Posted November 9, 2023 For the first time in existence, LA made it to the finals, and despite the sweep and the brooms being brought out against them, it was a step in the right direction. With cap not increasing however and a lot of expiring contracts, a lot of media outlets and "insiders" had counted LA out for their rebound season, but the GMing and management team had other plans. Despite not being able to retain every single player from the infamous finals series roster, the team was able to retain most of it's core, while adding some tremendous players to boot. Now 16 games in, the team is sitting in 2nd of the NA conference with a 12-4 record, while leading the league in a positive goals for/against tally. The rally seems to be going smooth and the team looks to continue to bring their full effort the whole course, attempting to bring it back to the finals once again. LA has a lot of work to do here however as they are limited in "future" assets and will likely be forced into a retool/rebuild in the very... very near future.... or will they?
