Player Spotlight – Viktor Vyzovsky 

 

Viktor Vyzovsky joined the VHL via his player agent @Vik on October 12, 2023. The towering eighteen year old defender from Russia joined during the off-season and quickly jumped into the VHLs junior showcase tournament. Vyzovsky played in six games for the Royals where he put up one goal in the six games played, but gained valuable knowledge on how professional hockey was played in the VHL. After getting is first taste of the league in the JST, Vyzovsky was then drafted in the Season Ninety-One VHLM Dispersal Draft, twenty-fifth overall by the Philadelphia Reapers. Vyzovsky played in all seventy-two games for the Reapers this season, where he out up seven goals and twenty-six assists along with an eye popping plus seventy-five. Now that they playoffs have started, Vyzovsky has also gotten his first taste of the playoffs in the league, appearing in all five games for the Reapers. Looking at the practise logs for Vyzovsky, we have noticed they youngster hasn’t taken full advantage of some of the easier to obtain practise hours (VHL.com articles, Press Conferences and Trivia), which we hope the youngster will take advantage of moving forward, but regardless hope the Russian born defender will continue to improve and enjoy himself in the league.
