Game Recap: GM 76  London United vs. Helsinki

This game was a quiet one with only 3 goals in total, but still was quite action packed in the chances factor with 52 shots in total. The first 18 minutes there was no scores until Owen Lazaro of Helsinki capitalized at 18:46 assisted by Rick Grimes and Kronchy Kardashian. There was 3 penalties in total during the first period but none of them turned out to be costly. The puck dropped  on the second period and only 1 minute in there was a fight between Tommy Sleeves and Ivan Retoslav. This fight however, ended in a draw. It seemed like this fight gave Helsinki some momentum though as 4 minutes later they scored to make the score 2-0 over London United. There was no goals after this in the second though. The puck dropped on the third period and ONLY 11 SECONDS AFTER that Wann Kerr of London receives  a hooking penalty. Helsinki killed this off easily though. When there was only 1 minute left, London scored a last ditch power play goal to try to avoid the 3-1 deficit. However, the great third period for London outshooting Helsinki 15-5 came to nothing as they fell 2-1. Now, Helsinki has  a strong grip on this series as they lead 3-1 and all it takes is one win out of 3 games to clinch a spot in the final with Toronto or Los Angeles. The final shooting count came to be 26-26 for both teams.
