Schwarzer Hoping to Play for Canada in Upcoming WJC

After a rejuvenating holiday break spent with friends and family, Joshua Schwarzer, fresh off his VHLE championship victory with the Cologne Express, is gearing up for the World Junior Championship. This time, he is projected to proudly wear the maple leaf on his chest and play for Team Canada.

If selected for Team Canada, this will mark his debut in representing his home country on the international stage. Schwarzer previously played for Team Asia as a substitute and got the chance to showcase his skills with two goals and four points in ten games. This experience provided him with valuable insights into the dynamics of international play. Now, with the opportunity to wear the iconic red and white of Canada, Schwarzer is eager to elevate his role, aspiring to be a key playerfor the team. The prospect of being an offensive leader for Team Canada adds an extra layer of excitement, and Schwarzer is determined to make the most of this opportunity if it is given to him, laying the foundation for what he hopes will be a series of international appearances in the future once he makes the jump to the VHL.
