Knight 1,291
Rashford in Unfamiliar Territory Its's been a season and a quarter, but Rashford finally seems to have new(ish) running mates. After playing most of last season and the first 20 games of this season with Jeff Lewis and Jarmo Ruutu, the young trio was finally split up following the arrival of Montgomery Burns via trade last week. It was Jeff Lewis that got the promotion to the top line to play alongside superstars Axle Gunner and Left Alone, with Burns slotting in with Ruutu and Rashford. The early returns have been promising and the team can't complain currently being top of the EU Conference. When asked about the difference in playing, Rashford had this to say, "Lewy was a real offensive talent and tied the line together nicely. I think where we struggled was playing really quick teams. Monty gives us that extra burst on the line to make up for my slow ass." There's no doubt that Moscow are a better team following the trade, but will these be the lines come playoff time? jacobcarson877 and Spartan 1 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/144518-rashford-in-unfamiliar-territory/ Share on other sites
