jRuutu 2,479
Seattle vs London The game was full of action, neither team really wanted to play defense and it showed! Both teams scored two goals in the first period, Triller and Torbjorn for London, Targaryen and Swearinger for Seattle. In the second period the goals kept on coming, this time around Seattle kept going as Swearingen scored first and then Mattias. Kerr managed to keep London in the game, but then Mattias scored again. 5-3 after two periods. London got a poor start into the third period, Odinsson made it 6-3 for Seattle, but then London decided to put in the extra gear, Kerr scored, then two powerplay goals from Knievel and Molly from the Cat! 6-6 after 60 minutes of hockey. And when we saw no goals in the OT, the winner was decided in the shootout - Seattle was better, Justin Lion saved all London's scoring attempts. 7-6 win for Seattle. KaleebtheMighty 1,539
GAME 279: Prague Phantoms vs Chicago Phoenix The game began with both teams immediately gunning on offense. Chicago opened with the first goal on the powerplay from Michael Shotter, only to have the game tied up by Fred Hampton with Prague all within the first 5 minutes or so. Prague would take the lead near the end of the first with a scoop and score goal by Velociraptor Greg following a missed shot by Nicholas Kauppi. In the second period, defenses would prevail for nearly half of the period until Chicago tied it up with a fantastic offensive attack from their 2nd line that resulted in a goal for Legacy Gaming. Now at this point, the game was even. However, there have been some witness reports indicating that Yaroslav Trunov was given a secret water bottle containing some sort of supplement near the end of the 2nd period. Whether that is to be confirmed remains to be seen, but Trunov did score twice in a span of 30 seconds following that water bottle event. Chicago would lead for the rest of the game and close out a victory against Prague, winning 4-2. Trunov continues to dazzle on all accounts as the Phoenix fight for a wildcard spot in the NA conference.
