Wolves' rookies involved in bar fight

The Vancouver Wolves season has been rocky as far as standings go.   However, after recent shootout loss to Calgary the Wolves highly touted rookie class has given GM @Frank another problem to worry about.  

 

Despite given a curfew by their GM, four rookies, Riley Martin @Smarch, Guntis Gavilrovs @Girts, Logan Ninefingers, and Vlad Von Carstein @Dom snuck out and hit the bars.  While at a popular club known as the Roxy they were allegedly confronted by several Calgary fans who made the trek over to watch the game. 

 

Apparently the four rookies took offense to some of the comments about Vancouver’s play this season and the fists started flying.   In the end, we saw nine Calgary fans transported to local hospitals and the four rookies sitting in the city jail.  Rumor also has it that giant defensemen, Guntis Gavilrovs ripped a finger off one of the assailants to give it to Logan for a full set.  But this can’t be confirmed. 

 

 Upon their release the four had no comment as they were escorted to some cars to be whisked away. GM Frank Chadwick gave a press conference at noon today and gave the following statement: “Last night four of my players broke curfew and went out on the town.  This is an internal matter that I will deal with, and they will not like the consequence for that. I feel a day of bag skating is in their near future. Furthermore, the issue with the fight last night I have no issue with how they handled themselves.  Were a team, and in my opinion, they defended the team, and they will not be punished for that.  I am proud that four of my youngest players stood together and battled as family.  It's why I drafted them.”

 

Reporter: “Can you confirm the rumor that Guntis Gavrilrovs tore someone’s finger off and kept it last night?”

 

Frank:  “No comment”

I can't comment on ripping off a Calgary player's appendage (for legal reasons) but I can say that I will do anything to help a teammate, I'm just happy that Logan's last name is Ninefingers instead of Nopenis.

No doubt Logan Ninefingers was behind this chicanery.  I bet you’ll find empty white claws in the Vancouver locker room.  @Frank you gotta put a stop to this quickly.  Ninefingers is a bad influence on the other rookies.  Make @Scurvy watch Brad Marchand highlights, it will be a self correcting problem.
