Summer is coming

The days get longer, the weather gets warmer and suddenly there are so many more interesting things than writing 150-200 words for the VHL. 'Tis nearly the summer, my favourite season but a sim league's least. When attention diverts and can be lost entirely.
 

Skor McFleury swept all defencemen awards in S93, second straight season a defenceman has done that. It feels like there is a full article there... but not tonight.
 

Wann Kerr won a lot of awards to close off a formidable if unlucky (in terms of the cup finals) career. Not enough for a Hall of Famer but then who has done enough recently? Again, an article can be written.... but maybe another time.
 

The update to the portal broke something in the awards section which meant 5 minutes of useless labour typing the award winners. Another day that would have been quite irritating, but today it is a mild frustration quickly forgotten in the sun.
 

A new season rears its head shortly. That will focus minds again. Until then, why not enjoy the non-VHL world. Plus 150-200 words of vaguely VHL-related content isn't so hard after all is it?
