leandrofg 1,156 Posted June 3 Share Posted June 3 Calgary, Canada - "What is going on in Calgary?" That's the question we've heard the most over the past week in the VHL. The Wranglers started the season hoping to be a mid-level team with room for growth during the upcoming seasons. Management stated their goal was self-improvement, using this season as a bridge for better things in the future. Now they have a nine-game win streak on their hands, and it's impossible not to think of this team as more than mid-level. For now, they look like the ever-loving underdog fighting their way to the top. This group of players became a well-oiled machine and are using this energy to keep this streak going. It looks like a great story, but new, pertinent questions come with it. Should Calgary ride this group and see what they can achieve together? Could they be overperforming and need help transitioning from being a good to a great team? We can't wait to see what's next for the Wranglers!
