Rashford Struggling Out of the Gate

Many people expected big things from David Rashford this season after big improvements in each of the last two off-seasons. There was a general consensus that he would make another leap this year (having gone from useless plug, to most improved, to key contributor) and challenge for an all-star spot. However, like most things in life things have not gone to plan at all thus far. Rashford has scored only 6 goals in 23 goals and is an appalling -12 on a team with championship expectations. While he's firing the puck on net at a very good rate and continues to stay out of the box, his on-ice production just hasn't been good enough and is a contributor to the underperforming Moscow Menace. His cousin, Marcus, was also left out of the Euro 2024 England squad so it's been a rough go for the Rashford family. While his season isn't quite lost, Rashford still aspires to hit the 30 goal mark and bring his plus/minus into the positives - ambitiously another above +20. He'll have to find chemistry with his line-mates @jRuutu and @badcolethetitan soon, or else he may be looking for work elsewhere in the offseason given the plethora of young talent coming through in Moscow.
