The first period was for the most part an even battle, Warsaw had slightly more shots, but it was Seattle who got on the scoreboard first as Del Rocco scored when 8:55 was played.  Warsaw had a chance to tie the game on the powerplay a few minutes later, but Seattle's PK took care of the powerplay. 1-0 was the score after the first. The second period was perhaps one of the most periods of hockey we have seen in VHL this year. A total of 14 shots were fired with no penalties and no goals. Warsaw got the worst possible start to the 3rd period as Dixon scored for Seattle when 0:55 was played of the third. Warsaw didn't get much of a comeback going as Seattle dominated the third period with shots 25-3. Dixon scored one more goal for Seattle when just over 6 minutes were left in the game. Seattle won the game 3-0.
