Where Have All The Good Goals Gone?

David Rashford has been struggling to put the puck in the net this season, and he's not really sure why.  He continues to fire pucks on net at roughly the same pace as last year, but a lot less are getting past the goalies. In fact, his shooting percentage has dropped by a whopping 31.1% which makes him a lot less effective on the ice. Rashford, really known as a player who can score at a solid pace, played himself into the Moscow Menace lineup with some really great effort and a nose for the net. But what played him into the lineup is now playing him out of the lineup, which is a big shock given his development so far in his career. It makes sense that all players go through tough stretches, but with the season almost over it's maybe time to wonder if Rashford is already declining. Moscow have a wealth of offensive talent at their disposal and takes a lot of the pressure off Rashford, but he's not capitalizing on his chances. If he's not careful, those chances might entirely dry out when he's replaced by a more effective goal scorer.

Season 93: 5.68 shots per game | 7.33% shooting percentage | 0.42 goals per game

Season 94: 5.60 shots per game | 5.05% shooting percentage | 0.28 goals per game
