Wow, Here it is a the day after Canada Day and looking forward to a mini vacation this weekend. Heading down to the beach this weekend with the kids and wife. Am I waffling yup since I really am having a hard time figuring out what I want to talk about this week.

 

I could mention the fact that I jinxed the Bouchard since I mentioned he was on an amazing pace that no player has set since the great John Jameson in the VHLE. Where he reached the milestone of 50 goals, 50 assist for 100pts. Dumb Ass, Pierre Marc Bouchard was easily on that pace as he was set to score 60 goals and something in the 120-130pts range if I remember correct. With only a few games left he has been stuck at 41goals and just as of today broke the 100pt mark. Yeah, So what have I learned? Of Course, nothing but STHS gods’ suck!! LOL!! No never count the chicks until the eggs have hatched. Something I already knew and get reminded of every time I mention something good about my team or my player.

 

I could also talk about why I wouldn`t be a good GM as once again another GM has stepped down and the league will look to replace that GM. While I have been a long-term AGM and I also understand that my larger might be more important or at least allowed to think it is; than other AGM around the league. While I like to think I am the Brain and frank as the Pinky. I know deep down that I am a dressed-up Pinky!! LOL!! And frank is really the brain behind the operations in Vancouver. So that means while I have experience as an AGM, it really won`t translate to being a GM at least at the VHL level. Not to mention that I am a Mac user and that conversation ends rather quickly.

 

I could talk about Blowing up the VHL, VHLE and the VHLM!! Create a super league like I am in FHM 10; which I created a Super Major Junior league above the CHL. Where all Junior age players from around the league are drafted starting at the age of 15 and play in one of three leagues with each league consisting of 32 team each across the USA & Canada with the CHL being the feeder system to this massive league. Is 96 teams too much? Hell Yeah!! So why am I mentioning this because it means I would go way over the top to create a super league called the World Elite Hockey League or something just as stupid where the current VHL become a super elite league where players need to max earn or at least max earn to a certain point before they can join this league as the TPE minimum would be 600 TPE and up.

 

Yes, I would keep the VHLE but that would be the Minor Pro league where players from 200TPE to 600TPE would play keeping the WEHL only for elite players like the NHL actually represents and the WMHL (yes, rename the VHLE to World Minors Hockey League) better than Welfare hockey league; but I am going off topic as this would clearly act like the AHL & KHL catching all the players that don`t deserve to be in the WEHL with the real Pros!!

 

How would it all look like? I don`t know but I thought of enough things that I could talk about to make up the word count for this week so I let all the Brains or the Brians of the VHL determine if this is a good idea or not!! Reeces Pieces!!

I think you’d be a great GM if you ever wanted to be!  You might be a dressed up Pinky, but it’s a sharp fit and you wear it well!
