Season Eighty-Six feels like a long time ago for fans and management of the Vancouver Wolves. After undergoing a rebuild the last couple of season, the Wolves finally made it back to the VHL playoffs this off-season. The team ended up beating the New York Americans in dramatic fashion, competing a reverse sweep in the wild card round, before being man handled by Torontos goalie Joel Castle in the Conference semifinals. Now with a renewed hope again in the off-season, expectations are even higher for the Wolves. The team of brining back the majority of its roster from last season, while adding in some very good rookie forwards that were picked up in a trade last season.

This season the team will have a forward core that includes, newly position changes Liv Slater, Logan Ninefingers, Riley Martin, Owen Lazaro, Rip Wheeler, Pierre Mac Bouchard. The team will look for the young core to grow, as last season seen a lot of ups and downs for the forward group. On defense the tram will see a defensive core of Mark Calaway, Guntis Gavilrovs and Bollos de Trueno. The netminders group will see another newcomer helping backstop the team in a backup role with Dalkr Vidarsson back for another year joined by last season first round draft pick Soju.

Will this be the season that Vancouver finally puts it all together with this core, or will it be another disappointing season that might see the core be no more?
