If you are a Moscow Menace fan you are more than likely pleased with how season 95 has started as Moscow Menace is first in the league with 17 wins and 36 points.  The Moscow roster went through a lot of changes during the off-season, so against that background the start is even more impressive. Quite surprisingly Moscow Menace has performed extremely well on the away ice by winning 12 games out of the 13, but at home, things have been more tricky as Moscow has won only 5 games.

Moscow Menace center Jarmo Ruutu had this to say about the strong away form after a 2-1 win from Warsaw:

"There is something nice about traveling and stealing points. Some teams put up a little fight, like Warsaw today, but we have shown it numerous times that no matter how much you fight back the points come home with us.  At home, other teams have more intensity as they want to beat the cup winners of last year and we perhaps let our emotions get the best of us, we make easy mistakes or try too hard, but the season is still new and I know we will turn things around at home too."
