Out of nowhere, the Missisauga Hounds have signed German defenseman Ron World Peace Jr during the later stages of this VHLM regular season. This 6'8" mammoth of a player, obviously related to former Cologne Express defenseman Ron World Peace as his name gives away, is still a very raw prospect who has very little to show for skill-wise. Missisauga will stash its newest addition on the second line for the time being, hoping that his defensive effort will give them a miniscule push as the playoffs inch closer and closer.

For World Peace, the task at hand merely lies within the fact of getting accustomed to the hockey standards of North America. Despite being a fairly highly rated prospect in his home country, the game across the pond is vastly more fast-paced, something that he has to adjust to quickly. It is unclear if he will reach the VHL itself - his potential is not projected as a high ceiling. For now, the Hounds have made a safe bet to strengthen their core a bit for the upcoming postseason.

World Peace Jr, who describes himself as a team first player, has already acknowledged publicly that he will train whatever skill traits his coaching staff deems necessary.
