jRuutu 2,464
Moscow Menace drafted River Harrington at 2nd overall, a player represented by the assistant GM of Davos. Moscow also drafted Deadpanda 5th overall, a player represented by the Davos general manager. The draft success is yet another win for Euron Leonidas who has in recent years, for example, managed to collect 1st and 2nd overall draft picks in the same draft while keeping Moscow at the top of the league. To many drafting the management of a rival team sounds risky as the players automatically bring extra element to contract negotiations by having such close ties to another team, they could be more likely to demand a trade away to help their "own" team, but if we have learned anything from the likes of Jeff Epstein and P.Diddy is that you should not ask what these players can do to Moscow, you should ask what Moscow can do to these players. Euron Leonidas, according to the rumors, has spies all over the league who target potential active users and future general managers early on, any questionable content and material they can find is then saved for later use. Having this type of "advantage" could help to explain the success of Euron Leonidas in acquiring so many first-round picks and being so successful in the trade negotiations. Of course, everything is speculation at this point, but one thing is for sure: it will be interesting to see what happens in the European division in the future.
