Bocage has always been a podcast guy, as well as someone who enjoys topical, currently humor. When the Hawk Tuah girl blew up all over FaceBook, Obuz could not contain his enjoyment. "This might quite be the greatest meme of all time, hands down.” When he heard that the woman behind it had started a podcast, Coined as the Talk Tuah Podcast, Bocage was elated. Finally, his two favorite things, merged into one. Obuz listened immediately upon release and was overcome with pure ecstasy. Hearing Hawk Tuah every five minutes, seeing people dab and refer to memes in the 2018-2020 period was practically sensory overload for the veteran blue-liner. As a somewhat well-known hockey player, Obuz thought that she might have him on the next episode if he asked. Thus, he sent her a totally appropriate, above board, professional, not at all creepy or desperate DM on Instagram asking to be on the Talk Tuah podcast. Apparently, she did not take this request seriously and saw it more as a joke than anything else, as she screenshotted the message and posted it on her Instagram story, tagging Bocage and stating “Look at this goofy ahh dude tryna slide on the Pod! 😭😭😭”. Bocage was flooded with mentions and DMs brutally criticizing him for his actions, absolutely lambasting him every which way. Bocage has since turned off mentions and notifications and has made all his socials private in an attempt to let the storm subside. This instance, however, is something that Bocage may never live down.
