It goes to show you that you don't need every color in the toolbox to make a solid graphic that just works. I like the particle background as it is just enough to compliment the render without being a distraction. Your render looks clean cut and has the detail to make this all work. Even though you left a NHL logo on his collar, it still looks the part. Logo swaps are hard with a player at this angle. You seemed to have gotten it close enough to look like it is the actual logo. You font/text choices are outstanding. It transitions really well from the background to the render, well done.
