As the Current San Diego Marlins GM I am super happy to do this. I know this never really happens if at all but with the E being gone I feel this should be done more as players will spend more time with their VHLM Team than before.

At the start of the season the San Diego Marlins management team decided that against the Mississauga Hounds on game 158 in the VHLM schedule the marlins would retire a number of a legacy player for this franchise.

This player was a key part to this franchise for 5 seasons and is 2nd in all time points in San Diego Franchise History. Without further ado please join me in congratulating...

SJIN!!!!

Sjin played a total of 363 games for the franchise and racked up 175 goals, 289 assists for 464 points only behind Roadkill Steve with 528 points in 413 games.

When Sjin was asked how it feels to be the First Marlin to get their number retired for the franchise (Atleast from my research) he said "Actually awesome, being a member of the Marlins was one of my favourite periods during my time  on the VHL Forum" - Sjin

I have to say I have talked to Sjin been on the same team as him and been GM'd by him and he is a great guy. I joined in S89 and joined the Marlins that season when the Marlins won their 2nd championship and he welcomed me and was super nice and helpful. Later I was drafted by Cologne in the E and he was my GM, helping me out and making it a fun journey for me during the E. We have each helped each other at one point in time and he is one person I will most likely never forget.

Once Again Please congratulate Sjin on this wonderful M career.
