San Diego clinches their spot in the second round making sure the top seed in the west Mexico City makes an early first round exit. In a 2-1 victory, all the scoring came in the 3rd period. San Diego was propelled forward by Jean-Pierre Devote @eagle_3450 and Jerry Box @barryst each having 1G and 1A. Hunter s put Mexico on the board but it wasn’t enough for them to stay alive. Both goalies played well, however Ricky LaFleur @DarkSpyro seemed to be the difference maker like he has been all series.

For absolutely no reason, I want to ramble about the Lynx-21st game. The VHL sure has a hell of a lot of talent surrounding it, which is why I focus on the VHLM games!

 

The Ottawa Lynx, in a game that I expected them to win thanks to everyone else’s predictions, actually did win! The team went up by 1 in the first period with a score from Dromis Sarkanis nearing what I assume to be the end of the period, though that the 21st responded in Period 2 with a Xhekajs middletoe score to bring them up to an even 1-1 score. Unfortunately for them, Ottawa wasn’t planning on going into an overtime match so they answered back in period 3, making the game go in their favor and also having one goal scored in each period which is really nice to see!
