VHL Community is Generous

I was trying to come up with something easy to get 150 words in for the 2 tpe this week, and I decided to give a quick shout out to a few people who gave to a charity of their choosing.  There’s something to say about this league and the community.  So here goes:

 

Wcats donated to “Inn from the Cold.”  GREG_DI donated directly to Canadian Cancer Society.  Spartan donated to Animal Shelters.  Dstevensonjr donated to Community Organization of Multiple Sclerosis & Cancer, Inc.  Gaikoku-hito donated to the Japanese Cancer.  Banackock donated to Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society.  Leandrofg donated to Acreditor Associacâo de Pais e Amigos de Crienças com Cancro.  Baozi donated to Fear is Not Love.  Several others donated directly to the VHL for the American Cancer Society and Canadian Cancer Society.  And there were others who contributed to the charity drive in someone else’s name to help that VHL member be included.  If I missed your name and you feel you should be recognized, please feel free to reply.

 

I encourage you all to take a look at the donations in the thread because there were some people who have been directly affected by cancer and have lost loved ones.  And I’m sure there are many more who did not share their loss.  If you have time, take a few minutes to look at the charity thread and maybe even say a prayer or have some quiet time reflecting on what people in this community have experienced.  Merry Christmas.
