The high-scoring Halifax 21st kept pace with the top teams in the league with a huge offensive showing against the Hounds and are in third place overall. After trading goals three times, Inker Belle @WildfireMicro broke the tie at 5:38 in the 2^nd period to make it 4-3 and Halifax poured on the gas after that scoring four more unanswered goals in the third and outshooting Mississauga 20-9 in the final frame.

 

Halifax’s dominant duo of Pelayo Bolivar @SMYLS4 and Belle remain 1-2 in league scoring as they both scored twice and Belle added two assists and Bolivar added one. Ty Duke @TheDuke also had a four-point night with 1-3-4. Cysteine @Bea, Hater Tottingham @Trunkxolotl, and Petr Novak @LastGoon007 (his first of the season) also scored for Halifax. Goalie Chad Powers @Big_Dyl was sharp stopping 28 of 31 shots.

 

The Hounds were led by Davin VanHousen @David VanHousen and Kurt Bachmann @Blutch who each posted a goal and an assist. Jay Sikes @JaySmacksss also scored and despite being under siege in the third period, whiteknight @shaun1979 valiantly turned aside 31 of 39 shots.

 

Special teams were special for both teams as each scored short-handed and Mississauga scored once on the power play and Halifax scored three times.
