Mia Miller Joining Advantage Agency

Today it was announced that the Advantage Agency has signed another young talent to their organization.  The group that has represented players like Ryan Sullivan, Brick Wahl and current Nighthawks center, Viktor Jensen, announced today their first female talent recruit!  

 

Mia Miller is a 17 year old defenseman that has continued to help break gender barriers by playing professional hockey in Europe these past two seasons.  She has been an electric threat with incredible skating a soft touch with the puck, that should lend itself well if she decides to make the jump to the VHLM in the next couple seasons. Here is what she had to say on how she would describe herself:

 

“I see myself as someone that can play two-way hockey by relying on my skating and smarts.  With that being said, I’ve been feisty my whole life and I will not be afraid to use my body to separate others from the puck as well.  I still have to work on my defensive game and get stronger but I really think I can make a strong impact with my smarts and skills alone.”

 

While the Advantage Agency typically doesn’t take on more than one client at a time, they do know that Viktor Jensen is retiring after this season as it will be his ninth with the Nighthawks.  While the Norwegian center is the focus of the group with him on the cusp of hitting 700 career points and not far off the Nighthawks goals and assists records, it’s Mia Miller that seems to be the agency’s focus going forward. And we can’t wait to see how she will progress as the next few seasons unfold.
