Couple of quick thoughts

I think I've made it clear over the years that my life is pretty much an open book here on the VHL. If you don't want to read it, that's fine, but for those who do, I share my stories in part because I find some comfort in it, and in part so if anyone else is going through similar, they know they're not alone. 

 

While we're waiting for the playoffs to kick off, I do want to say that I'm disappointed with Shevchenko's production this year, but the second half showed good improvement. Yes, it was 30 points under what I had hoped for, but there were multiple games toward the end of the season where he showed up in a big way, and I'm glad I was able to help Toronto finish third in North America. I do wish we had more rebuilding teams in our conference versus Europe, but c'est la vie.

 

Progress on the book is continuing. I'm now 75% through the final edits, with some additions here and there to make along the way. Whenever this project wraps, my next new book is going to be a LitRPG, though I'm not sure how heavily I'll lean into all of the system prompt stuff that is standard for the genre. I basically have a story in mind, but I want to add LitRPG elements, if that makes any sense. I hope @OrbitingDeath  is excited to see this, since I know he's a fan of the genre.

Truth be told, i only read one series in the genre, but it did skyrocket to one of my favourite book series of all time (so that is the Dune Series, Galactic Football league series and now Dungeon Crawler Carl series), leaving me really scared to even try other books in the genre afraid they will just disappoint me.  But I am definitely curious to what it will become and happily read it once you are done, so keep me posted there.  Good luck bud!
