Hello, friends. It's another week, another .com article where I go into it with no idea what I'm going to say. So buckle up and get ready for what will surely be an unforgettable experience.

 

I started putting TPE into Faceoffs. I have the 3rd highest stat in that category on the team, so I don't know how good of a center I'd be, but Shev is tied for highest Defense rating with Raimo Tuominen. Strength is 3rd as well, so not quite there yet. But on the wing or up the middle, I'm hoping Shev hits the 100 point mark this season. It might be a stretch, but it's still my goal.

 

Seems like I've been ghosted on a job. Had a virtual and in person, got an hour long tour after the interview, and was told they'd have a decision no later than Wednesday. That was Wednesday of last week. I've sent two emails since, never got a response. Never heard back from any of the 50-60 applications I sent out internationally, either. As someone with 15 years of experience, I was hoping applying for jobs that want 5-7 years would make me a candidate, but apparently not. Maybe I really should start my own business.

Ghosted after an hour tour and an in-person interview? That's a new low as far as I've heard, JFC.

 

Supposedly there's a bit of a trend going on where younger candidates will apply for jobs, get interviews set up, and then just no-show. Any e-mails or calls they get after, they just ignore. Maybe one day they'll finally get the message.

On the job front, sorry to hear that, I can't imagine how frustrating it is to put in the work and then have nothing come of it, especially when they can't even be decent enough to just let you know.
