Here we are about ten games into the season; which started slowly for the Vancouver Wolves. Vancouver started the season with a 0-4-1 record and that was enough to end the bot experiment forcing the team to make a single trade with Malmo Nighthawks bring the human revolution to turn the season around.

With my inside information, I can tell you that this wasn`t always the plan and wasn`t the only options being discussed after the first five games of the season. Most will see the short lived robot republic as failure but in the end I know both AGM and GM actually learned some very valuable information.

“At first, we discussed further line changes as we truly and I will somewhat still stand behind this believed that we had a strong enough team with bots that we could/should actually hold station in the NAC until the trade deadline; we just need to find the right touch with the lines. I think we might have managed that before we made the trade” commented the not so funny looking clown called an AGM.

A little birdie told me more trades were discussed?

“Yes, we also like too throw around all possibilities so we had discussed moving an top player to another team to clear cap space, which would have allowed us to add other pieces to the team include the trade similar to the one made with Malmo as we always required to bring two forwards onto the roster even at the trade deadline. Not sure how far the discussed trades made it before we understood that it wouldn`t make sense from our end as we would be losing too good of player only to be replacing them with weaker more cap friendly players. So in the end the Malmo trade made even more sense so we pulled the trigger.”

What does this mean for Vancouver Wolves moving forward?

“It means we have a set roster until the trade deadline at least and hopefully we start to reclaim our rightful place near the top of the NAC as we expected to be at the start of the season. We will continue to look at trades that improve our roster like the one we just completed. But at the moment we feel we are in a much better place after the trade and now just need to see how it all plays out!!”

Are the Vancouver Wolves truly contenders now or are they still pretenders?

Y'all made the right call, a lesser team would have toiled in mediocrity, but the results speak for themselves. Good job from you and @Frank
