With nearly two dozen games played, it is really easy to see who the power players are. Big teams are always at the top and this season is no different. The North American conference has the mighty team of Toronto making a huge statement. Here in the European conference, Moscow is right at home at the top and had a very impressive win streak going. Riga, against all odds, has become a steady contender for the “best of the rest” race. It seems like we are always a win streak away from getting some separation from the other teams, but that hasn't happened yet. So depending on the day, Riga is second or third, which is great considering our GM missed all the trades and had to put together a full team. What a wonderful job v.2 has done.

 

Gunner has slowly been returning to form. At least he is around a point per game and should do better as the season moves along. It has turned out to be a fun ride, even though it will be into the sunset for Gunner.
