animal74 1,922
Albin Aldgard is having his best professional season in S98, his rookie season in the VHL. Since coming to North America, his best season in the VHLM was the last of his three in the minors tallying 12 goals, 39 assists for 51 points with the eventual Founder’s Cup Champions, the Las Vegas Aces. With 10 games remaining in his first season with the D. C. Dragons, Aldgard has already set a career-high with 14 goals, 40 PIM, 119 blocked shots and his first ever short-handed goal. He’ll have plenty of time to post four assists and two points to set highs in those stats as well. He’s currently leading all Dragon defensemen with 50 points after the trade of veteran blueliner Leif Reingaard @Zetterberg to Riga and is tied for 5th in the rookie scoring race and third among first year rearguards behind the Los Angeles Stars’ pair of Bubbles LaFleur @AJW and Mikko Tuomala @flyersfan345. While he’ll be hard-pressed to catch them, it’s been a successful season for Aldgard regardless. flyersfan345, sadie and AJW 3 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/156279-aldgard-enjoying-best-pro-season/ Share on other sites
