Next up in this ten-part series, it’s time to take a closer look at the Las Vegas Aces! This is easily one of the most hyped-up outlooks in the series, and for good reason. There’s a lot to break down, so let’s dive right in. This past season, the Aces were knocked out in the first round of the playoffs, which was definitely a letdown. However, let’s not forget—they won the cup just two seasons ago. That championship pedigree still matters. But the big question is: what about this upcoming season? What should we realistically expect out of Vegas? Can this team bounce back and win a second chip in just three years? That’s exactly what we’re going to explore today in this latest iteration of the “Future Outlook” series brought to you by Bravebulldogs.

 

In this year’s draft, @sadie doubled down on the defensive end, making it clear that Vegas intends to dominate on the back line. She selected Mia Miller @Advantage and Ayumu Kasuga @Grape—two players with serious potential. Pair them with VHL First Overall Pick Additional Pylons @courtjestr19, and suddenly you’re looking at a top-three defensive unit that could be one of the very best in the entire league. That’s no exaggeration—they’re that good. And let’s not forget the huge addition of Dougie Talladega @dstevensonjr, who previously played for their bitter rivals, the Mississauga Hounds. His switch to the Aces adds even more fire to this team's already intense energy. Oh, and they didn’t stop there—they also picked up Obrian Young @OBrian Young in the fourth round. That’s yet another solid piece on defense, showing just how much depth they now have.

 

This team is absolutely loaded from top to bottom. Expectations are sky-high. Anything less than a trip to the cup final would honestly feel like a failure at this point. Their top three forwards are serious VHL-caliber prospects in Boing Boing @slothfacekilla, Ethan Ashcroft @EthanSea611, and Jagger Bomb Jr. @Jaggerbomb88. Each of these players has star-level potential, and they’ve already shown flashes of brilliance. Add in promising young talents like Talladega, Reid Johnson Jr. @TopTiddee2, and Lursa Duras @Dynamicmlb_42, and suddenly you’ve got a roster that’s scary deep at every position.

 

Goaltending is going to be a major storyline this season. The key here is Brian S @Bigb33. If he can elevate his game and come through with clutch saves when it counts, Vegas will be nearly unstoppable. He is absolutely my player to watch this season. The team in front of him is stacked—it’s just a matter of whether he can deliver in the biggest moments. And honestly, I think he can.

 

Now, before we wrap up, let’s address the elephant in the room. Some of y’all (cough cough, Sadie) probably noticed that I’ve been deliberately avoiding mentioning one specific player. Yes, I’m talking about the Milkman. With Season One of the “Battle For The Milk” now complete, it’s time to officially announce the winner. And yes—it hurts to admit it—but Las Vegas won the season series. So, it’s only right to award them the inaugural Milk Cup. Congrats, Aces. You earned it.
